Description - Overwatch 2

Overwatch 2 is the highly-awaited sequel to the most beloved team-based online multiplayer first-person action shooter video game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. Set just after the climactic story event of Overwatch’s lore, Overwatch 2 brings all-new heroes, maps, and PvP modes that it will share with the first version so that both players of the two games can benefit from them and even face off against each other despite the different servers.Over and OutOverwatch is an online first-person shooter game that is best known as a “hero shooter”. The story starts with the reactivation of Overwatch, an international task force composed of various talented agents that had been formed to fight in the Omnic Crisis—wherein hostile AI robots known as Omnics had gone out of control and attacked humanity. Overwatch was shut down a few years later after its headquarters was attacked amidst the investigation into the allegations against it. However, the reemergence of chaos and terrorism pushed a former member to bring back the team and recruit new agents in order to protect the peace once more. There are several factions involved in the world of Overwatch and while the game doesn’t have a dedicated single-player campaign that showcases its plotline, each playable character available to the game has animated cinematics and even comics that expand the story.Back in ActionIn Overwatch, you get to choose from the various playable characters in the game’s roster—each unique in their role, skill set, abilities, and even backstories relating to the plot of Overwatch—and the game pits you in 6v6 matches of several game modes. You can play in Casual Mode, where you can easily join matches in Quickplay mode, find your skills tested in using specific characters for the weekly Brawl mode, and even creating your own Custom Game. You can also gear up for Competitive Mode, where you can show off your skills in ranked matches on the various maps that have specific types of gameplay or even go head-to-head with the best players in the professional Overwatch League. Overwatch 2 continues all of this with a new chapter to the story, and more characters, maps, and game modes centered on PVP. However, Overwatch 2’s best feature would have to be its shared multiplayer environment between it and the original Overwatch game, so both playerbases can play with each other.More Shooter FunIf you’re an old player of the first game, there’s no need to worry about losing your progress in Overwatch 2, as all your accomplishments and loot collections will be carried over to the new game. You have to take note, however, that Overwatch 2 will feel more like an expansion rather than a full-on sequel but with the New Game + happening for old players, OVerwatch 2 seems like a good investment to start on.
